Position Overview

The Front Desk Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the guest services team, ensuring that all essential functions of the Front Desk are executed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address all guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with attentiveness and professionalism, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Participate in daily and monthly operational meetings to discuss performance and strategies.
  • Engage in the Manager on Duty (M.O.D.) program as scheduled.
  • Assist at the front desk, concierge, and bell desk as necessary.
  • Foster strong working relationships and maintain open communication with management, staff, and other departments.
  • Collaborate with the accounting department on financial discrepancies, including returned checks and credit card issues.
  • Ensure that all staff members greet and welcome guests in line with company standards.
  • Implement and uphold all company policies and operational guidelines.
  • Assist in preparing forecasts for revenue and occupancy.
  • Oversee accurate cash handling procedures at the front desk.
  • Ensure that all associates are consistently friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests and colleagues.
  • Guide the Guest Services Department in enhancing guest service and audit performance.
  • Monitor and manage V.I.P. guests and special requests.
  • Review daily reports generated by Night Audit to assess guest services activities.
  • Stay informed about all Brand Rewards programs and promotional offers.
Essential Qualifications:
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years in guest services, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
  • Exceptional management, organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Must adhere to company appearance standards and uniform compliance.
  • Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
  • Must possess employment eligibility in the U.S.
Physical Requirements:
  • Proficient in basic office skills, including experience with personal computers and Microsoft Office.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and use hands for various tasks.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and maintain a standing position for most shifts.
  • A valid driver's license from the applicable state is required.
  • Weekend availability is essential.
