Job Summary

As a Respiratory Therapist at Johns Hopkins Medicine, you will play a critical role in assessing and recommending interventions for patients with cardiopulmonary issues. This position requires specialized respiratory care knowledge and proficiency in administering diverse therapies, including medical gas, humidity, aerosol, hyperinflation, and bronchial hygiene therapies. You will also be skilled in emergency care and collaborate with healthcare teams to implement tailored multidisciplinary care plans.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and recommend interventions for patients with cardiopulmonary issues
  • Administer diverse therapies, including medical gas, humidity, aerosol, hyperinflation, and bronchial hygiene therapies
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement tailored multidisciplinary care plans
  • Provide emergency care and respond to critical situations
Requirements
  • Associates Degree in Respiratory Care from a COARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
  • Maryland State License Required
  • CPR Certification and BLS required
  • ACLS preferred
