Job Opportunity

Suburban Hospital, a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine, is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing specialized respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and recommend interventions for patients with cardiopulmonary issues
  • Administer diverse therapies, including medical gas, humidity, aerosol, hyperinflation, and bronchial hygiene therapies
  • Manage both invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement tailored multidisciplinary care plans

Requirements:

  • Associates degree in respiratory care from a COARC-accredited program
  • Bachelor's degree in respiratory care from a COARC-accredited program (preferred)
  • Maryland state license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • CPR certification and BLS required
  • ACLS preferred
  • All credentials must be maintained with active status

Work Experience:

Entry-level to advanced position with demonstrated and documented clinical and operational systems competency in a comparable RCS division.
