Position Overview:
PlanIT Group is looking for a dedicated Warehouse Services Coordinator to manage various logistical tasks related to the movement and storage of goods.

Job Purpose:
The primary function of this role is to oversee the shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and distribution of materials and supplies to ensure operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage material picking and packing processes.
  • Conduct inventory verification and maintain accurate counts.
  • Utilize Excel for tracking and documenting material movements.
  • Prepare materials for shipment, including strapping and shrink-wrapping.
  • Label skids with relevant material information.
  • Operate picker lifts and pallet reach trucks safely and efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with operating picker lifts, pallet reach trucks, and forklifts is essential.
  • Forklift certification is preferred.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in warehouse operations with a focus on inventory management is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary for documentation purposes.
