At Essel, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to lead our water infrastructure design team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in water-related utility design processes and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of engineers in the preparation of plans and specifications for water infrastructure projects, including water treatment plants, booster pump stations, and pipelines.
- Plan, direct, and evaluate the work of assigned staff, ensuring design schedules and budgets are met.
- Perform quality control on design projects and lead the preparation of site plans, including grading plans and storm water capture and conveyance design.
- Develop Capital Improvement Programs and related design documents, such as preliminary design reports and project cost estimates.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of progressively responsible experience in water infrastructure design.
- California PE license required, with a minimum of 3 years in responsible charge.
- BS Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Aptitude and hands-on experience with computer applications used in Civil Engineering, such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and WaterCAD.
