Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our Children's Residential Program team. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support to families and individuals with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outreach and support to families through phone contact, in-person meetings, and written correspondence.
  • Conduct parent workshops and lead parent meetings to promote empowerment and understanding.
  • Interpret and ensure compliance with governmental regulations related to individual rights.
  • Assist with the intake of students and associated paperwork.
  • Act as a liaison with outside resources and maintain documentation in a professional and confidential manner.
  • Coordinate and participate in activities related to program transitions and provide information, referral, and advocacy to staff members and their families.
Requirements
  • Flexibility in work hours is necessary.
  • Ability to modify the environment to ensure the safety of children.
  • Physical demands include lifting/moving up to 20 lbs, running up to 500 feet, and kneeling, twisting, and bending.
