About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mine Site Cleaner to join our team in Middlemount. As a Mine Site Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of various mine site buildings and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide effective and efficient cleaning services across a range of areas, including admin buildings, crib rooms, toilets and bath houses, washrooms, field equipment, and mobile equipment.
  • Comply with company procedures and standards, and observe mine site safety protocols at all times.
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and handling chemicals and manual handling practices with care.
  • Ensure adherence to Ventia's compliance standards covering Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ).
  • Take personal accountability for your own safety and be aware of the impact of your actions on the safety of others.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in industrial cleaning.
  • Standard 11, current Coal Board medical, and Class C Drivers License.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Personal drive and motivation.
  • Fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
