Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to join our team at Odell Medical Search. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality imaging procedures are performed in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality CT procedures, adhering to established protocols and standards, to produce accurate and diagnostic-quality images.
  • Utilize effective communication skills to ensure patient comfort and safety, utilizing AIDET principles to identify patient service requirements and establish rapport with patients and staff.
  • Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, positioning patients, adjusting immobilization devices, and setting exposure factors to ensure optimal image quality.
  • Protect patients and staff by adhering to safety protocols, infection control measures, and radiation policies, utilizing proper sterile techniques when performing invasive procedures.
  • Maintain equipment and work areas to meet quality and cleanliness standards, collaborating with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal operational capabilities of equipment.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including requisitions, patient histories, and shielding precautions taken.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Less than 1 year of experience in CT imaging or related field.
  • ARRT-CT certification or equivalent required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent required within 30 days of hire.
