We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Medical Response Specialist to join our team at Metro Atlanta Ambulance Service.

Job Description

The successful candidate will provide emergency medical services, administer pre-hospital care and inter-facility medical care in accordance with company protocols and procedures. This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, responding to emergency calls and coordinating clinical activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide Patient Care: Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with company policies and procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.
  • Maintain Clinical Knowledge: Maintain working knowledge and proficiency of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology and other standards of care specific to the employee's level of certification.
  • Respond to Calls: Respond to all assigned calls in an appropriate, safe and efficient manner, utilizing skills and equipment to provide quality care.
  • Document Patient Care: Complete required documentation, obtain appropriate signatures and submit documentation as required for each assigned call at the end of each shift.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • EMT Certification: Minimum of 1 year experience as a field Paramedic, with Paramedic Certification by the State of Georgia.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS): PALS certification is required.
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
