Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Operations Specialist to join our team at Southern Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital's mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain the hospital's mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment life.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operation of hospital systems.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Five (5) years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Valid state driver's license.
- Certified and/or licensed in a specified trade related to healthcare engineering (Steam boiler, HVAC, etc).
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
