Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Land Surveyor to join our team at Encompass Services, LLC.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of land ownership, boundaries, and titles, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and experience with computer-aided drafting programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct precise measurements and record data on land surfaces, boundaries, and topographical features.
  • Utilize modern surveying equipment, manual recording, and computer-aided drafting programs to collect and record data.
  • Research historical maps, land records, and previous survey results to verify current measurements and resolve boundary line questions.
  • Prepare reports and maps containing information from field measurements, boundary markers, and topographical features.
  • Communicate with architects, engineers, and construction personnel to verify geological and property boundary data.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in surveying or civil engineering.
  • Professional Land Surveying license.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and understanding of mapping concepts.
  • Self-motivated with good time management and ability to work outdoors.
  • Experience with computer drafting programs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble GPS.
