Our commitment to nurturing and advancing exceptional talent from underrepresented groups in consulting is embodied in our Growing Future Leaders (GFL) Internship Program. This initiative is a 10-week immersive summer internship designed specifically for Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, and Indigenous/Native American/Alaska Native students. The program aims to empower and prepare these students to emerge as leaders in the consulting field and the broader business landscape.
Responsibilities
The GFL Internship Program offers a select group of sophomore students the chance to immerse themselves in BCG's culture and operations within one of our U.S. or Canadian offices. Throughout the internship, participants will be matched with a mentor, engage in training and development activities, and contribute as part of a BCG case team. Successful completion of the GFL Internship may lead to scholarship opportunities and an invitation to return as a Summer Associate after their junior year.
Qualifications
- Current sophomore student at a U.S. or Canadian university, anticipating graduation between December 2026 and August 2027
- Identifying as Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, or Indigenous/Native American/Alaska Native
- Demonstrated academic excellence
- Strong analytical skills and a passion for problem-solving
- Proven leadership abilities and a collaborative mindset
- Exceptional communication skills
Additional Information
Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from their designated office. As part of the office team, attendance in the office as required is expected. This role offers an accelerated trajectory for personal and professional development, which may occasionally necessitate extended working hours. Travel to client sites may also be required, so obtaining a valid driver's license and passport within six months of employment is expected.
