Job Summary
The Resident Care Assistant will provide daily care to our residents, assisting with routine tasks and ensuring their comfort and well-being. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Assist with mealtime, including serving and feeding residents
- Help residents with mobility and transfer needs
- Monitor and report any changes in resident condition to the nursing staff
- Participate in resident care planning and implementation
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry duties
- Perform other duties as assigned by the nursing staff
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in healthcare or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform daily tasks and lift residents as needed
