The primary objective of this role is to empower our sales personnel and distributor partners to maximize their sales potential.
The ideal candidate will be an adept communicator, capable of articulating the Fresh value proposition through various channels including email, phone, and trade shows. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to follow up diligently are essential. You should be able to juggle multiple projects and tasks effectively while gaining exposure to advanced B2B tools such as Sugar CRM, Syteline Infor ERP, and the Salsify Product Attribute GDSN program.
Comfort in collaborating with channel partners, generating interest, and qualifying leads is a must. A positive, can-do attitude is essential, along with the ability to navigate challenging customer interactions and work collaboratively with internal teams. Daily use of various software systems will be required.
This full-time role will provide vital support to our sales department, reporting directly to the Sales Operations Manager. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employer matching, and various insurance options.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support
- Act as the primary inside contact for designated strategic accounts.
- Assist Fresh Sales Managers and third-party sales representatives with sales support.
- Manage and document Fresh's sales opportunities and contacts within SugarCRM for your assigned territory.
- Prepare and organize Proof of Delivery rebates, Spiffs, and promotional materials in the company’s accounting system.
- Coordinate trade show logistics including attendance, registration, and meeting arrangements.
- Track samples and follow up with sales representatives and trade shows.
- Facilitate planning and support for customer and industry meetings.
- Manage customer-specific flyers and e-blast communications.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Business Communication and Coordination
- Follow up on trade show inquiries and sample requests.
- Maintain and update strategic accounts' new item forms and data on their websites.
- Coordinate and disseminate Fresh Marketing communications.
- Track promotions from sales representative teams.
- Provide coverage for Fresh managers, marketing, and leadership during travel periods.
- Monitor strategic customer websites for new opportunities and necessary updates.
- Communicate new product information effectively.
- Maintain price lists and other essential communications for sales teams and customers.
- Prepare and distribute communications to sales representatives.
- Engage with key customers and opportunities regarding Fresh business initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Open to entry-level candidates, with compensation based on experience.
- Willingness to travel approximately 4-6 times per year.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with a knack for managing multiple priorities.
- Customer service-oriented mindset, both internally and externally.
