About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at Piedmont Newton Healthcare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients presenting with a wide range of diagnoses, from life-threatening conditions to minor injuries or illnesses.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Utilize advanced nursing skills and technologies, such as A.I.D.E.T and patient communication boards, to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Participate in pre-shift huddles and daily operations to ensure seamless patient care and efficient departmental functioning.
  • Work collaboratively with patient care techs, charge nurses, and unit-based educators to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices through ongoing education and training.

Requirements
  • Graduate of a nursing program.
  • Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
  • BLS certification required.
  • One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
