Nightingale's List is seeking a qualified Clinical Social Worker to join our team at a correctional facility in Avenal, California. The ideal candidate will have experience providing mental health services to inmates and ensuring their well-being and rehabilitation.

About the Role
  • This is a 24-week local contract job requiring 40 hours of work per week with an 8-hour shift.

Overview:

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) will be pivotal in providing mental health services to inmates, including evaluating, diagnosing, and managing psychiatric disorders, developing effective treatment plans, and participating in crisis interventions, group psychotherapy, and face-to-face interviews.

Responsibilities include documenting all care provided, performing mental status exams, reviewing pertinent documents, facilitating patient transitions within the institution, and maintaining safety and security.

The LCSW will also ensure compliance with CA and CDCR laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications
  • Current LCSW certification valid in California
  • A minimum of 12 continuous months of similar experience within the last 3 years
  • Proficiency in English, both oral and written
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this role is $83,000-$110,000, depending on experience. Benefits include dental benefits, vision benefits, and weekly pay.
