Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Care Assistant to join our team at Henry Ford Providence Southfield Hospital. As a key member of our Acute Rehab Unit, you will provide exceptional patient care and support under the supervision of a registered nurse.

About the Role:

This is a part-time position working 12-hour midnight shifts, with flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care, and we're looking for someone who shares our passion and commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

* Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Take vital signs and document patient information
* Observe patient responses and report observations to the supervising nurse
* Assist in developing care plans by reporting test results and patient observations
* Perform other tasks as assigned, such as environmental services and preparing patients for diagnostic services

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Enrollment in a nursing program required
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within one month of hire date
