Job Title: Dry Plant Operator

We are seeking a skilled Dry Plant Operator to join Arepet Industries, LLC at our Von Ormy plant. The ideal candidate will have experience operating dry plant machinery and ensuring the efficient production of high-quality materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate dry plant machinery, including dryers, conveyors, and associated equipment, to maintain product quality and maximize efficiency.
  • Monitor production processes and adjust equipment settings as needed to meet production goals.
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery to prevent downtime and ensure safe operation.
  • Inspect materials and products at various stages of the drying process to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain accurate records of production data, equipment maintenance, and any incidents or issues that may arise during your shift.
Requirements:
  • Prior dry plant operator experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Heavy equipment experience preferred.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Ability to wear all required safety equipment.
