Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized care to patients with psychiatric conditions, taking into account their physical ability, intellectual development, psychosocial, education, and safety needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to develop and implement effective care plans.
- Emphasize patient and family-centered care, involving them in goal setting and planning, and communicating the plan of care to ensure seamless care across shifts and settings.
- Utilize current evidence and relevant national/specialty standards to guide practice and identify areas for improvement.
- Demonstrate competent clinical practice, utilizing clinical decision making and critical thinking skills.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ASN or BSN - BSN preferred)
- Current New Hampshire, compact, or multistate licensure as Registered Nurse required
- Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment - ACLS preferred
- Aggression de-escalation training approved by EHS
