**Position Title:** Investigator VI (Long-term Care Regulation)

This role assesses compliance with both state and federal regulations. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct on-site licensure inspections, complaint investigations, and annual comprehensive surveys to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to provide, exchange, or verify information, and address any issues or complaints related to long-term care facilities.
- Facilitate exit conferences with facility personnel to discuss findings and assist in developing corrective action plans.
- Prepare inspection or survey reports that detail deficiencies, recommended remedies, and narratives supporting regulatory conclusions.
- Verify the correction of previously identified regulatory violations through facility visits.
- Perform quality assurance reviews of documents prepared by others, including reports and assessments.
- Occasionally provide testimony at hearings or court proceedings regarding policies, procedures, findings, or activities.
