About the Role
Caterpillar is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Corinth, Mississippi. As a key member of our Remanufacturing Division, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing manufacturing processes that meet our high standards for quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement manufacturing processes that meet quality and efficiency standards
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
- Lead capital and gateway improvement projects to enhance manufacturing operations
- Monitor equipment and process reliability, and analyze engineering change notices to determine necessary changes
- Provide engineering support for planning, development, operation, and maintenance of equipment, processes, or facilities
- Develop and manage manufacturing/assembly projects, and assist in developing department capital and expense budgets
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or STEM field
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and implementation approaches
- Experience with manufacturing equipment, processes, and safety protocols
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
