Key Responsibilities
  • Manage an assigned group of customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention
  • Create and manage orders from order entry through to invoicing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Verify stock availability and assign lots to meet customer needs
  • Coordinate per-shipment samples as needed to ensure quality and consistency
  • Issue invoices and ensure timely payment from customers
  • Handle product returns and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist sales managers, brokers, and distributors with samples, technical documents, and marketing materials
  • Provide sales data and reports from our ERP system to inform business decisions
  • Proactively communicate and interact with other business functions and disciplines within the organization
  • Participate in sales and planning functions, including sales forecasting and inventory planning
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Logistics, or Business Administration
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the food industry
  • Proficiency in a second language (Spanish or French) is preferred but not required
  • Good computer literacy and knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) and Microsoft operating software programs
Competencies
  • Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve customer issues in a timely manner
  • Excellent customer service skills to manage difficult or emotional customer situations
  • Ability to multitask and coordinate tasks and projects in a fast-paced office environment
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles and knowledge of freight, warehouse, and logistics coordination
Work Environment

The work environment is a fast-paced office setting with moderate noise levels. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.
