About the Opportunity

Mercy Clinic Fort Smith is seeking a full-time Board Eligible/Board Certified Radiation Oncologist to join our well-established team in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

We are a strong, physician-led organization known for our quality of care and patient satisfaction. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and working together to achieve our goals.

About the Role

We are offering a competitive recruitment and benefit package to the successful candidate.

  • We have a team of 4 Hematologist Oncologists, 7 full-time Oncology Nurse Practitioners, and a Radiation Oncologist.
  • We have 3 Nurse Navigators specializing in Breast, Lung, and General Oncology, a dedicated Genetics APN, and 2 Research Nurses.
  • We have a dedicated Breast Surgeon and a dedicated Head and Neck Surgeon.
  • We have call coverage of only one hospital that is attached to the clinic.
  • We have all Varian Platform equipment.
  • We have 2 linear accelerators with state-of-the-art Varian TrueBeam STX as well as additional Varian 21EX.
  • We have HDR equipment available.
  • We have an onsite Philips Big Bore Brilliance CT Simulator.
  • We have a multidisciplinary tumor board on site weekly.
  • We have a teaching affiliation with Arkansas Osteopathic School of Medicine, with the opportunity to have medical students in clinic with a stipend.
  • We have the opportunity to work with Mercy Fort Smith IM and FM residencies.
  • We have a system-wide EPIC EMR.
  • We have a diverse range of cases due to our 13-county rural catchment area.
