Cloud Architect and Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer to join our team at Amazon Web Services, Inc. - A97. As a key member of our Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) organization, you will be responsible for designing, architecting, and building scalable, flexible, and integrated solutions for our Sales and operations teams.

• Cloud Solution Design and Development: You will work closely with our business stakeholders, product, build, and program management teams to understand requirements and design cloud-based solutions that meet our customers' needs.
• Technical Leadership: As a Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer, you will provide technical leadership and guidance to our team members, ensuring that our solutions are implemented efficiently and effectively.
• Collaboration and Communication: You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure that our solutions meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
• Cloud Platform Expertise: You will have expertise in cloud platforms, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), and be able to design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-based solutions.

• 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, solution architecture, and software development.
• 6+ years of experience in product development lifecycle in enterprise distributed and/or CRM systems, solution and systems design, software development, operations, automation, and simplification.
• Knowledge of engineering best practices, software development life cycle, including solution architecture, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and certification in large-scale infrastructure/platform DevOps environment.
• Experience partnering with business stakeholders, product, build, and program management teams.

• 6+ years of experience in Salesforce CRM platform with certifications.
• Experience in leading and communicating with end users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to understand requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy.
• Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers.
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, C#, Python, Ruby, Rust, Golang.
• Experience with CICD pipelines DevOps processes.
