Job Title: Child and Adolescent Therapist

Solutions Community Counseling and Recovery Centers is seeking a compassionate and skilled Child and Adolescent Therapist to join our team in Ohio. As a key member of our team, you will provide supportive services to individuals with mental illness, teaching coping skills, and ensuring safety and well-being for our clients.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

  • Develop individual service plans by performing diagnostic assessments, obtaining personal histories, and explaining treatment processes.
  • Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing counseling skills and techniques.
  • Monitor client progress by maintaining and reviewing case notes and other documentation.
  • Provide clients with alternative services by compiling information on available agency and community resources.
  • Participate in staffing assessments, collaborating with other professionals, and presenting client cases.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 1 year of experience in a similar environment.
  • A required license, such as LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, MFT, or IMFT.
  • The ability to respond promptly to emergency or crisis situations.
  • Understanding and compassion for both clients and family members.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow up in a timely manner.
