About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Solutions Community Counseling and Recovery Centers. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing supportive services to individuals with mental illness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Develop individualized treatment plans by conducting diagnostic assessments, gathering personal history, and explaining treatment processes.
  • Facilitate Therapy Sessions: Facilitate individual, marital, family, and group therapy sessions by utilizing counseling skills and techniques.
  • Monitor Client Progress: Monitor client progress by maintaining and reviewing case notes and other documentation.
  • Provide Alternative Services: Provide clients with alternative services by compiling information on available agency and community resources.
  • Participate in Staffing Assessments: Participate in staffing assessments by collaborating with other professionals, presenting client cases, and reviewing cases.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Social Work with at least 5 years of experience. Master's degree preferred with 1 year of experience working in a similar environment.
  • Licensure: Required license LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, MFT, or IMFT.
  • Skills and Abilities: The ability to respond promptly to emergency or crisis situations, understanding and compassion for both clients and family members, strong organizational skills, and the ability to follow up in a timely manner.
