Position Overview

Lutheran Services in Iowa is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time Service Coordinator to manage our Hourly Supported Living Community (SCL) program.

This position will be responsible for overseeing Hourly SCL services across various regions, ensuring that our clients receive the support they need to lead more independent and confident lives. You will lead a team focused on developing innovative remote support solutions that incorporate technology to enhance client care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise all activities related to Hourly Supported Community Living (SCL) services.
  • Ensure that services provided facilitate personal growth and independence for clients.
  • Train and oversee program supervisors, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Manage budgetary considerations while leading a team dedicated to client support.
  • Engage in travel as required to oversee service areas.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in a health or human services-related field, along with three years of experience in human services, preferably in disabilities or mental health. A minimum of two years in a supervisory role is required. While a Master's degree is preferred, it is not mandatory. Familiarity with technological support systems is advantageous.
