We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Electrical Foreman to supervise and lead our electrical installation, alteration, addition, and repair projects. As the first line supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a crew of skilled employees and ensuring the successful completion of projects across various types and sizes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take joint ownership with the Project Manager in estimating and performing take-offs.
  • Coordinate and assign work to subordinate lead persons, while ensuring the availability of materials, tools, equipment, information, and manpower.
  • Develop work schedules and man-loading charts to optimize productivity.
  • Direct the installation of electrical feeders, equipment (e.g., pumps, motors, generators), control and distribution apparatus (e.g., switch gear, relays, circuit breaker panels), lighting fixtures, outlets, and related connections and terminations.
  • Monitor work progress, provide guidance to the crew, and adjust schedules as needed to maintain pace and coordination with other trades.
  • May perform hands-on work as needed for either production or instructional purposes.
  • Manage office correspondence and administrative paperwork, including official forms, daily reports, time sheets/tickets, safety reports, etc.
  • Ensure crew and project safety by providing proper training and instruction to employees. Enforce compliance with Walker safety processes and protocols. Participate in accident investigations and reporting.

Requirements

  • Possess all the skills required for lower-rated positions, including all Journeyman duties
  • Licenses: Current Driver's License and reliable transportation.
  • Education: High School Graduate, GED, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years in commercial/industrial electrical work.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year based on experience.
