Cloud Engineering Manager

As an Assistant Vice President, Application Engineering, you will play a key role in driving cloud-based initiatives at the intersection of technology, people, and performance. Our Information Technology team equips employees with the latest tools to complete their work efficiently and with the highest standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop high-availability architecture solutions using cloud-based platforms like ECS, PCF, EKS, and Mule.
- Collaborate with IT Managers to assign tasks for maintenance and project work, ensuring seamless integration with existing IT architecture.
- Develop and deploy scalable and secure cloud-based solutions, leveraging expertise in Tomcat, JDK, and container platforms.
- Configure, manage, and integrate various application runtime platforms, including Mule MRE, and troubleshoot issues.
- Design, develop, implement, and support services using SOA DataPower appliances, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Monitor and support web-interface applications and back-end services, deployed on IBM and Tomcat-based application servers/containers.
- Perform upgrades to major Websphere products and third-party products used within the environment.
- Provide technical leadership to infrastructure technical resources and business systems analysts, defining technical solutions and architectural guidance.
- Deliver well-designed and engineered solutions that seamlessly integrate with existing IT architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
- 5+ years' experience in supporting and deploying high-availability architecture solutions.
- Strong understanding of application runtime, container platforms, and cloud-based services.
- Experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting services using AWS Cloud-based services.
- Masters degree in Computer Information Systems or related field.
