Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineering Manager to lead our DevSecOps program within Enterprise Security and Fraud. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of technical security engineering experts to develop and implement cloud security solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management
    • Hire, evaluate, and supervise a team of technical security engineering experts.
    • Provide guidance and training to develop team members.
    • Set performance standards, review performance, and make informed compensation decisions.
  • DevSecOps Program Development
    • Develop and implement cloud security solutions to protect Vanguard's assets and data.
    • Work closely with senior leaders, ES&F teams, and third-party vendors to define scope and requirements.
    • Strategize, plan, and execute the DevSecOps Engineering roadmap.
  • Cloud Security Engineering
    • Manage the life cycle of various in-house and vendor DevSecOps security tools.
    • Perform SAST, Open-Source Vulnerability Scanning, Cloud application scanning, Runtime Scanning, etc.
    • Work closely with other DevSecOps teams and CTO office to integrate existing and new DevSecOps tools into CICD pipelines.
  • Industry Expertise
    • Act as an industry expert in application security practices and standards such as SAST, SCA, IAST, DAST, software-supply-chain, etc.
    • Guide the team to mature the DevSecOps program.
  • Special Projects
    • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Experience in one or more cloud providers (preferably AWS).
  • Direction and guidance to team on cloud security engineering.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with Tues, Wed, Thurs in the office and Mon, Fri remote.
