Key Responsibilities- Provide primary clinical support to our healthcare providers, patients, and their families to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patient conditions.
- Follow up on diagnostic testing to ensure completion, accuracy, and filing of results in the medical record to ensure continuity and quality of care.
- Promote a clean and safe environment for our patients.
- Meet the qualifications to provide care for patients in specific age ranges on their assigned clinical area.
- Obtain and document patient medical history, chief complaint, vital signs, and provide basic medical data for our healthcare providers.
- Prepare patients for examinations and provide direct clinical care as directed by our healthcare providers.
- Assist our healthcare providers in the performance of minor surgical diagnostic procedures and ancillary diagnostic examinations as directed.
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens and complete associated paperwork to expedite laboratory studies with maximum accuracy and efficiency.
- Execute and document ongoing patient communication, as directed by our healthcare providers, and prioritize communication to ensure efficient use of provider time and timely response to patient needs.
- Administer medications and vaccines, including intradermal and skin testing, under the direction of a healthcare provider and per scope of practice.
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Nursing, with experience in performing NSTs preferred but not required.
- Basic Life Support Certification and Licensed Practical Nurse certification.
