- Key Responsibilities
This position requires substantial experience. The successful candidate will have both office and field surveying expertise and will be responsible for:
Preparing Boundary, Topographic, and ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys under the guidance of a Maryland Professional Land Surveyor.
Conducting independent research, organizing documentation, and analyzing deeds and plats, as well as reviewing title commitments.
Utilizing various Local, County, State, and Quasi-Public databases for geospatial data collection.
Processing field data, including field-to-finish operations and traverse adjustments.
- Essential Skills and Qualifications
Candidates must demonstrate proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office, with a minimum of three years of relevant experience.
The ability to review and process field data, including least squares traverse adjustments and point importing into CAD, is essential. Familiarity with Trimble Business Center and Star*Net is advantageous but not mandatory.
Experience with networked desktop computer systems is required.
Strong mathematical and communication skills are necessary.
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are mandatory.
Regular in-office attendance is expected, along with the capability to work independently under guidance and a commitment to personal and professional growth in the surveying field, both individually and collaboratively.
