The ideal candidate should have a strong background in theoretical quantum computer science and experience with quantum algorithms, quantum circuits, or quantum error correction.

The selected candidate will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD security clearance. Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.

Job Description

We are seeking a researcher to perform research in various aspects of quantum computer science, including quantum circuit design and optimization, implementation and analysis of quantum error correction, design of syndrome decoding algorithms, and resource analysis of quantum implementations of logical circuits.

Requirements
  • MS in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field, or a BS and 5+ years of related work experience
  • A strong background in theoretical quantum computer science
  • Experience with quantum algorithms, quantum circuits, or quantum error correction
  • Ability to develop software in programming languages such as C++, Python, Matlab, and/or Mathematica
