We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Lowell General Hospital. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures to support patient diagnosis and treatment.

Job Overview

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating radiologic equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and ensuring quality standards are met. You will work independently, collaborating with healthcare teams and providing training to new staff and students.

The position requires expertise in various imaging techniques and practices to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will evaluate physical conditions related to diagnostics and operate medical imaging equipment accordingly.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform radiologic procedures on assigned patients according to policies, procedures, philosophy, and objectives of the department and hospital.
  2. Work cooperatively within departments and other service lines to create a system of quality health care.
  3. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay updated on the latest techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Radiology or related field.
  • Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT).
  • Radiologic Technologist state license eligible.
  • Four (4) years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Basic Life Support Certification.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is around $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
