We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team at Woman's Hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience in evaluating and treating pediatric patients, as well as assisting with educational programs and new program development.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate and treat pediatric patients within the scope of services offered by the department.
- Assist manager with educational program and new program development, marketing, and promotion.
- Perform other duties assigned by department management according to policies and procedures and the mission of Woman's Hospital.
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a major in occupational therapy.
- State licensure with the Louisiana Board of Medical Examiners.
- A minimum of two years prior experience as a pediatric occupational therapist.
- Experience working in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
- Neurodevelopment therapy experience is preferred.
- Orthopedic and neurological disorder experience preferred for pediatric occupational therapy.
- Membership in AOTA is preferred.
- Competitive pay rate: $49.89 per hour.
