Job Summary

As a CT/Xray Technologist at LCMC Health, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our radiology department and perform radiographic procedures with precision and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct radiographic procedures with minimal supervision, utilizing your technical expertise and independent judgment to produce high-quality images.
• Collaborate with radiologists to review scans and identify areas of abnormalities, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient and employee safety.
• Participate in quality control checks and quality improvement initiatives to enhance departmental operations and patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Basic Life Support HeartSaver & First Aid certification from the American Heart Association.
• Radiography Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Radiology Technician certification from the Louisiana State Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (LSRTBE).

Working Conditions

• Medium physical requirements, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds and frequent standing and walking.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and strong communication skills.
