We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Behavioral Analyst to join our team at Shrub Oak International School. As a Behavioral Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify factors contributing to challenging behaviors and develop positive behavior repertoires.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement behavior intervention plans and systemic positive behavior supports across the campus.
- Maintain relationships with students, families, and staff to ensure individualized needs are met.
- Develop trusting and respectful relationships with students, focusing on strengths and preferences to incorporate student-centered learning.
- Participate as a transdisciplinary team member, guiding and learning from colleagues.
- Master's degree or higher in special education, psychology, or a related field.
- NYS Behavior Analyst certification.
- Experience working with middle and/or secondary school students with autism.
- Competitive salary range: $90,000-$120,000 DOE.
- Monday-Friday, 8:15am-4:15pm schedule.
