Job Summary

Western Technical College is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to serve as a K12 Pathways Liaison. This role will play a critical part in building relationships with industry partners in advanced manufacturing and area school districts. The successful candidate will assist in developing and delivering creative, hands-on activities that promote interest in and knowledge of STEM fields.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to establish relationships and connections
  • Develop and deliver STEM-related events and programming for K12 students
  • Work with manufacturers to understand their needs and provide support for advanced manufacturing skills
  • Represent Western at regional and community events to network with industry professionals
  • Coordinate and utilize technology to provide tours of the advanced manufacturing space to industry partners and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in a related field (Education, STEM, Business, Manufacturing, Technical Field) with 4 years of occupational experience in K12 or a manufacturing setting, or 6 years of occupational experience in K12 or a manufacturing setting
  • Experience in advanced manufacturing (PLC's, robotics, CAD, computer networking, machining, etc.)
  • Experience working directly with students (ACP, CTE, co-curricular coaching/advising, robotics teams, STEM camps, etc.)
