Key Responsibilities:

As a Wound Care RN, your primary duties will include overseeing the community's skin management program. You will provide safe, efficient, and effective treatment to promote healing for various wound types, such as surgical sites, ulcers, pressure sores, feeding tube locations, and abscesses. Your role will involve assessing wounds, developing and executing treatment plans, monitoring for infections, and performing wound care.

Qualifications:

  • A strong commitment to working with senior populations
  • A dynamic, engaging, and flexible personality
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in your practicing state
  • Previous experience in Wound Care is essential
  • At least one year of experience in providing specialized treatments in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility
  • Professional demeanor in both appearance and conduct
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Work schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with rotating on-call responsibilities
  • Competitive compensation up to $40/hour based on experience.
