About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist to join our team at Northeast Georgia Health System Inc. As an EEG Technologist, you will play a critical role in performing neurophysiology studies and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform neurodiagnostic procedures, including EEG, EP, IOM, LTM, and NCS, with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Operate neurodiagnostic equipment according to specifications and produce high-quality studies.
  • Maintain patient records, adhere to infection control and safety practices, and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and education.
  • Participate in training and education courses to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Current BCLS certification and EEG certification within two years of hire.
  • High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of supervised training/clinical experience in a lab setting.
  • Preferred: Enrollment in or graduate from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Electroneurodiagnostic Program or an Associate's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
