We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Security Systems Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our security services team, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support and maintenance for our clients' security systems.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support and maintenance for security systems, including burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV systems, and card access systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair security equipment and systems, including reading and interpreting blueprints and operational manuals.
- Coordinate inspections and installations with police, fire departments, and other agencies as needed.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their security needs are met.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in security technology.
- 10+ years of documented experience in low voltage electrical systems, including fire/life safety systems, access control, nurse call, and paging systems.
- Valid Fire Alarm License.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
- Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet client requirements.
- Overnight travel may be required.
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
- Maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to client needs.
- Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
- Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly.
- Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.
- Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test.
- Retain any licenses that are required by National, State, and Local codes.
- NICET Level II certification.
