Position Summary:
RSC2 is seeking a Financial Planning Analyst to become a vital part of our expanding team. This role will support the Information Warfare group and is crucial for effective budget management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate, present, and execute the annual operating budget.
  • Develop annual and multi-year budget forecasts while maintaining operational budgets.
  • Compile narrative and statistical materials to prepare exhibits and background information for program briefings.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for processing budget estimates.
  • Monitor the execution of the approved operating budget to ensure proper allocation and timely expenditure of funds.
  • Implement budget controls through the review and approval of fund obligations and expenditures, including personnel salaries, travel, and other expenses.
  • Engage in planning, monitoring, and managing responsibilities related to life cycle program plans and assigned systems.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of budget requests, considering unforeseen factors and exploring alternative funding sources.
  • Develop justification and impact statements, compiling data for forecasting obligations.
  • Recommend adjustments within budget line items in response to program changes and funding availability.
  • Forecast and execute prior, current, and future budget programs.
  • Prepare required data and narrative justifications for long-term budget exercises.

Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in budgetary support for Department of Defense (DoD) programs.
  • Proficient in using General Fund Enterprise Business Systems (GFEBS) for drafting funding documentation.
  • Experience in providing budget information for meetings and briefings.
  • Ability to assign correct line of accounting to funding documents and track funding documentation.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining budget information.

Work Environment:
This position is based on-site and requires full-time commitment.
