Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct technical and sales training sessions, covering essential topics such as installation, controls, commissioning, service, troubleshooting, and product applications.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and refine training curricula as needed.
  • Prepare and organize the training environment and laboratory prior to each training session.
  • Oversee the inventory of training materials at the designated location.
  • Ensure the training facility meets high standards, including the maintenance of equipment and tools.
  • Assist in the creation of product and technical training programs, developing materials such as presentations, videos, manuals, and digital content.
  • Provide support for training initiatives, including communication, promotion, and coordination of training activities.
  • Act as a liaison among sales, product marketing, service, and training departments.
  • Participate in educational or industry conferences, with opportunities to present at such events.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge and Skills
  • Proven experience in training within the technical service sector.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC products and control systems.
  • Familiarity with management systems is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated success in service and customer relations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to engage with a diverse range of students.
  • Capable of effectively conveying information and addressing inquiries from management, students, and clients.
  • Skilled in building long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders, representing the company’s brand positively.
  • Adept at reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical literature and procedures.
  • Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, and developing course content.
  • Ability to anticipate and resolve practical challenges.
  • Customer-focused approach, consistently seeking to exceed client expectations.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting while also taking individual initiative.
Experience Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC installation, commissioning, service, and maintenance.
  • At least 3 years of experience in facilitating product and technical training.
  • 8+ years of experience in HVAC installation, commissioning, service, and maintenance preferred.

Educational Qualifications
  • HVAC degree or certification is required.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Reporting Structure

This position reports to the Supervisor of Technical Training or the Manager of Technical Training.
