POSITION SUMMARY:

The Healthcare Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting healthcare providers by ensuring smooth patient flow while upholding exceptional care standards. Responsibilities encompass a range of patient care tasks, including but not limited to: monitoring and documenting vital signs, collecting samples, and administering injections.

In addition to clinical duties, the role involves various administrative responsibilities such as managing phone communications, coordinating physician schedules, ordering necessary supplies, and executing other clerical tasks.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Ideal candidates will possess entry-level knowledge and fundamental employment skills, along with a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience is preferred. Certification as a Medical Assistant is required for designated practices, along with a CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
