About the Position

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site technical support to operations, maintenance, and project teams.

  • Identify and execute improvement projects related to maintenance strategies and health/safety systems.

This role offers a chance for a proactive individual to significantly impact the safe and efficient operation of essential assets, ensuring production targets are met.

Reporting Structure

You will report to the Principal Advisor - Engineering and work on a 4 on/3 off schedule.

Your Contributions
  • Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing safety, asset performance, and cost efficiency.
  • Support capital project validation and delivery.
  • Facilitate failure analysis to address both acute and chronic asset failures.
  • Enhance maintenance strategies for both new and existing assets.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in engineering maintenance roles.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a small team.
  • Proven experience in delivering continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience in asset failure analysis.
  • A willingness to perform in-field tasks.
Preferred Qualifications

It would be advantageous if you have:

  • Experience in an underground fixed plant environment.
  • Familiarity with SAP or equivalent CMMS.
  • Basic skills in computer-aided drafting.
