Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Bailey-Boushay House, a nationally recognized model for HIV care. As a Registered Nurse at Bailey-Boushay House, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to provide high-quality care to patients with and without AIDS who require end-of-life care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide around-the-clock nursing care focused on the needs of the patient and their loved ones.
  • Work with a team of therapists, social workers, nursing assistants, and dietary staff to provide comprehensive care.
  • Respect and honor the social and cultural diversity of our patients and their families.
  • Support patients facing the end of life medically, emotionally, and spiritually in an environment that emphasizes quality of life.
Qualifications
  • Current Washington State licensure as an RN.
  • CPR certification.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
  • Understanding of chemical dependency.
  • Excellent communication and counseling/psycho-social skills.
