Job Overview

Position: Class A CDL Semi-Truck Operator

As a Class A CDL Semi-Truck Operator, you will be responsible for the transportation of loose materials including sand, gravel, and crushed rock. This role requires a thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspection of the vehicle and its equipment, along with the necessary documentation of any issues encountered.

Qualifications:
• A valid Class A CDL Truck Driver's License is mandatory.
• An acceptable driving record is essential, along with compliance to federally mandated drug testing and background checks.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Engage the dumping mechanism by operating levers or cranks as required.
2. Demonstrate proficiency in maneuvering the truck in various terrains and weather conditions.
3. Expect to work primarily within the truck, while being exposed to different weather elements.
4. Standard work hours are typically 10 hours a day, with potential for longer hours during peak periods.
5. Adhere to safety protocols by wearing a reflective vest, hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, and steel-toe boots while on-site.
6. Conduct daily inspections of the tractor-trailer to ensure safety and functionality.
7. Operate the vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, maintaining primary operational functions through routine checks and light maintenance.

Compensation:
The compensation for the Class A CDL Semi-Truck Operator will be based on individual qualifications and experience.
