About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Operator I to join our team at Knape & Vogt Manufacturing Company. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate production of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Rack and un-rack parts in a timely and organized manner
  • Follow all safety procedures and quality functions to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
  • Inspect parts and machinery for errors and report any issues to the production team lead
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the production team lead
Requirements
  • No previous manufacturing experience is required, but a willingness to learn and adapt to new processes is essential
  • Basic reading, writing, computer, and math skills are necessary for success in this role
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand basic English is required
  • Ability to efficiently work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. while standing for long periods of time
