About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Tax to join our team at The Hagerty Group, LLC. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic tax guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax savings
  • Lead and manage a team of tax professionals to ensure accurate and timely tax compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tax implications are considered in business decisions
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and provide guidance to the team
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external tax advisors and consultants
Requirements
  • CPA or equivalent certification
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in tax leadership roles
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
