Position Overview:
The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland is in search of a Senior Financial Analyst to play a crucial role in evaluating financial data and generating reports that aid management in strategic planning, reporting, and financial forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize advanced financial analysis and cost accounting techniques to conduct intricate financial assessments that support strategic decision-making.
- Assist in the formulation of the organization's operational budget, which encompasses a comprehensive financial plan and the creation of data visualizations.
- Engage with stakeholders to develop insightful financial reports and offer guidance and actionable solutions to financial partners regarding forecasts.
- Conduct routine and ad-hoc variance analyses, presenting findings through written reports, presentations, tables, charts, and graphs.
- Identify process inefficiencies, recommend best practices, and implement selected solutions.
- Contribute to specialized projects, providing in-depth analysis and insights to collaborative workgroups.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- 5-8 years of professional experience in financial analysis, financial reporting, or cost accounting.
- Advanced knowledge of cost accounting, financial analysis, and/or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in utilizing financial applications to design and troubleshoot reports for personal and team use.
- Equivalent education and/or experience may be considered for any of the above requirements.
